Microsoft’s new Surface Laptop Go starts at $549

Surface Laptop Go

Microsoft announced Surface Laptop Go which is a good option for anybody looking for a decent laptop at affordable price. Microsoft has the Surface Go lineup which includes affordable Windows tablets which connects with keyboard to give you laptop experience. Still the Surface Go gives you less performance than the iPads which are also a great option at that price. With this Surface Laptop Go Microsoft is trying to compete with other budget laptops and especially Chromebooks. At a price of $549 Surface Laptop Go offers 10th i5 Processor, 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of eMMC storage. This variant of Surface Laptop Go is really not good option because eMMC storage is not fast as SSD and only 64GB might not be enough for many people and its running Windows 10 Home in S Mode. You also don’t get a fingerprint reader with this model.
