Motorola announced the RAZR 5G which is their 2nd generation of foldable phone for $1399. At the end of last year, they announced their first foldable RAZR. Now they are back with the 2nd generation of RAZR with pretty good improvements.
The physical design is not that different from the previous one. Now it comes with Snapdragon 765G which is capable of 5G. It has a 6.2-inch (2142×876 px) foldable main screen and a 2.7-inch (800×200 px) external screen. It has a 48-MP main camera (OIS) and 20-MP front camera. The camera is better than its predecessor bur they are not the best in the market. The battery is also larger (2800mAh) than the previous version (2510mAh).
Its (external) quick view display has more uses now. You can text, play music, see notifications and do more tasks on it. Hinge is the major part of a foldable and Motorola says they have improved the hinge and now it has less gaps which won’t let dirt particles in. On they front display it uses a thin layer of plastic and the quick view display uses glass. The body is made up of 7000 series Aluminum and Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It has only one port which is a USB-C port that is capable of 15W charging. It has a traditional rear fingerprint sensor for biometrics. The power button is on the left and volume buttons are on right side. Now it comes with 8GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage which is not expandable via microSD card. It is available in 3 colors.
